SHREDDER OF THE WEEK: LUKA KOTZE
If you wanna talk about rapid progression in skateboarding, you cannot go past Luka Kotze. He came outta nowhere 14 months ago when he picked up his skateboard for the first time and hasn’t looked back since. He constantly goes bigger and harder and has grown into a full-blown dedicated skater - who just wants to skate and meet new friends for as long as he can. Luka Kotze is Slabzoo's Shredder of The Week!
SHREDDER OF THE WEEK: Tully Burke
You know a skater rips when the whole park will stop and watch him skate. This is what happens when 12-year old Tully Burke is tearing up the bowl at Alex Headlands in the Sunny Coast! Tully is all about passing on the love of skating. He loves helping kids learn to skate is often helping out at lessons or school holiday programs. What a young legend. Tully Burke is Slabzoo's Shredder of The Week!
THE KIDS ARE COMING TO BOWLZILLA 2021
BOWLZILLA. We went down the coast to experience just how much effort the young skaters from Level Up put into their training before a big contest like BOWLZILLA. Unfortunately, Queensland happened and the Elanora bowl was full of water - luckily Level Up has a state of the art indoor skatepark in the suburb next door. Easy! See photos and (seriously funny) interviews from the rad night here.

She’s a social butterfly and her positive attitude rubs off on everyone around her. So just be aware, if you skate with Mel, you’ll do it with a huge smile on your face!
