SHREDDER OF THE WEEK: JACK ANGELL
He loves the endless possibilities of skating and you can tell from his style. There is no doubt, Jack Angell has developed into quite a stylish street and park skater. You can always find him at his local Aura Skatepark on the Sunshine Coast - the dedication from this 16-year-old to his skateboarding is real. Jack is often the first to arrive at the park and usually last to leave when lights are out. Young Jack is our latest shredder of the week.

I love the endless possibilities.

A short, angry kid.

Tom penny, Tre Williams, Jack o’grady, Mike lawry and Ishod Wair.
What do you do when you're not skateboarding?
I’m usually riding a bike.
What has been the hardest trick to learn?
Heelflip front side boardslide!
What is your favourite skateboarding spots?
There is a school near Aura Skatepark that has a perfect ledge and 7 stair.
What was the first trick you learned?
Backside 180.
What tricks are you practicing at the moment?
Front tailslides and kicky front board.

What’s the worst slam you’ve had?
I broke my ankle trying boneless airs in a bowl.

When i did my first handrail.

Do you have a weird or hidden talent?
When i breath through my nose my nostrils close up.

I’m very bad at jokes so please forgive me, I have a few jokes about unemployed people but none of them work…
Advice to other kids starting to skate
My advice for beginner skaters is to always have fun with what they are doing and never compare yourself to other people.

I cannot rollerblade if my life depended on it.
