ETNIES REGIONALS AURA

The Sunshine Coast Skate-a-Thon 2021 in Aura was already cut down to one day due to Covid restrictions and staff travel but on the day the weather cut it even shorter. The main event - the Etnies Regionals - went ahead until the rain stopped the show just before the U16 division were about to show us their three best tricks.

Opens & Womens rained out

Skaters like Tommy Fynn, Rome Collyer and Dani Campbell were ready for the comp but unfortunately Queensland happened and the Opens and the Womens divisions were cancelled due to rain. All participants will get a share of he prize money as a thanks for their effort to show up on the day.

U12 & U16

The U12 division got two runs, instead of the usual three, before the top six went on to do three best tricks - the three best scores from the runs + best tricks counted towards the final scores.

The U16 only managed to get two runs in before the rain, no best tricks. The final score was the points from two runs combined.
