SLABZOO SUMMER SOCIAL
A chilled skateboarding meet-up for kids & families keen to connect with others in our fun and welcoming skateboarding community. Everyone is more than welcome to join - so come say ‘hi’ and let’s have a skate and a BBQ in Paddington Skatepark on Tuesday 22. December.
The holidays are here and the kids have plenty of time to skate but sometimes it can be a hazzle to organise skate dates with the mates, especially when the skateboard lessons are on hold and some families go away for the holidays.
Slabzoo Summer Socials is our very own and completely new initiative to create a welcoming community where kids can meet and hang out with skateboarding friends while their parents can connect and hang out with other parents - all while there’s a whole lot of skating going on in the skatepark.
We will set up a gazebo as a base to make it easy for everyone to find our crew.

What’s going down?
The plan is to let the kids skate wild in the skatepark while the parents connect and the non-skate siblings play on the playground in the park.
If the tennis court is free we might even head in there for some flat ground fun for everyone. Perfect for parents or groms who want to give skating a go!
Around 6.30 pm. we will turn on the BBQ - and we reckon the kids will be back at the skatepark with new energy for a night sesh.
Bring your own drinks and food for the BBQ.
