Bangers on the BBQ and bangers thrown on the ramps at Chiggy’s BBQ Skate Jam Night on Thursday night. About 35 skaters - groms, dads, masters skaters, and female rippers - were having a sweet session! Our very own Slabzoo staff photographer, Mark hit the Sunny Coast to capture the action and feel the vibe.

Music blasting, BBQ firing and a smell of the food wafting through the building while the session was hammering. The scene was definitely set for a lit night at Chiggy’s Indoor Skatepark in Coolum.

While the BBQ bangers were sizzling away the serious bangers were thrown down on the ramps.

Shai Balmer was confusing everyone with his switch tricks, airs, and lines on the ramps. Matt Hinkley, 80s Sunny Coast skater legend, ripped apart the ramp with his Smith Grinds, Feeble grinds, f/s grind, tail slides.

And of course, the up’n coming skaters Lukas Byers and Freddie Arnold were not being outdone with cracker f/s ollie airs and smith grinds.

Matt Chiggy himself even smacked some switch moves - and our very own Slabzoo staff photographer, Mark hit the fun as minis with some solid grinds.
