RUMBLE 2022: Red Lotus, Skate & Tattoo! A core Skate shop located at 3/160 Malcomson st North Mackay, right down the street from the Sugar Bowl skatepark. Red Lotus is owned & operated by local Skateboarder/artist Brenton Hawkins.

Over the past 10 + years Brenton & the crew from Mackay have been heavily involved in growing the local scene in Mackay to get to where it's at today!

Not only did they push for years on end to get the Sugar Bowl built & come up with the idea to run an annual comp (Rumble on the Reef) but have been involved in a variety of Skateboarding events from there learn to skate program "School of Skate" to Competitions, Jam sessions & stacks more!

RUMBLE 2022: On Saturday 24 September the finals for the Daly Bay Rumble Street Championships 2022 set the Sugar Bowl Skatepark’s street course on fire, backed by the scorching North Queensland midday sun. The skaters braved the heat and threw down runs and best tricks like their lives depended on it and in the end we saw a battle for the ages and a real changing of the guard.
