SUNNY SKATE SERIES: On what felt like the hottest weekend of the year stop 2 of the Sunny Skate Series went down at Alex Skatepark on the 11-12 February. With an always energetic Patty G on the mic, an experienced judging team, beach hangs, pizzas, bands and beers from Black Flag, it definitely was a vibe - oh, and the street and bowl rippers absolutely sent it all weekend, of course. Sunny Skate Series: An Awesome Weekend In The Name of Skateboarding & Festival Vibes Coming Up
SUNNY SKATE SERIES: The wait is nearly over! This weekend the 8 - 9 October 2022 will see the first ever Sunny Skate Series competition go down at Alex Head Skatepark on the Sunny Coast, QLD. Mat ‘Chiggy’ Chigwidden is the man behind the madness - and for those who don’t know who this legend is we can assure you that he knows what’s up when it comes to creating fun skateboarding events - and he’s pumped for this one.
Sunny Skate Series: A New Skate Festival With High Ambitions
A brand new Skateboarding Festival is coming to the Sunshine Coast. With ambitions set high this festival aims to attract riders from all over the nation and beyond for 3 days of street and bowl competitions, live music, food trucks and festival vibes on the foreshore of Alexandra Headland. Not just once, but four times every year. Here at Slabzoo we were intrigued to find out more about this new event so we hit up event creator Mat Chigwidden for an interview.
