ASL STREET CHAMPIONSHIPS

Moomba | The Australian Skateboarding League’s Victorian Street Championships took place in Melbourne 11-12 March 2023 at Riverslide Skatepark. The next gen is taking over the street comp scene and the Open’s were dominated by young talent, hungry to throw it down.

MOOMBA: On the weekend of 12. and 13. March the ASL National Street Champions of 2022 were found after two days of skateboard mayhem at Riverslide Skatepark in Melbourne, as part of the Moomba Festival by the Yarra River. The junior divisions made it very clear that the future of Australian street skateboarding is looking blazingly bright while the Open’s didn’t hold back and took it up a notch.

INTERVIEW: Chloe Covell was only 11 years old when she claimed the title as the Women’s ASL Australian Street Skating Champion 2021 at Moomba in Melbourne last year. We checked in with her in the warm-up to Moomba 2022.

MOOMBA: The 2022 Australian Skateboarding League (ASL) Street Championships is an open event with massive price pools and prices for all divisions and the chance to skate in front of the Moomba Festival crowds at Riverslide Skatepark, Melbourne.
