The ASL Street Championships is Coming back to Moomba 2022 in Melbourne
MOOMBA: The 2022 Australian Skateboarding League (ASL) Street Championships is an open event for all divisions, allowing the best and up-and-coming professional and amateur skaters to enter. The contest goes over two days, with open qualifiers on Saturday 12 March and finals Sunday 13 March.
There’s a massive prize pool for Opens as well as heaps of products for all divisions up for grabs, and the chance to show off your skills in front of the Moomba Festival crowds at Riverslide Skatepark, Melbourne.

The Moomba Long Weekend Festival is a series of fun, family-friendly events in the parks along the Yarra River in Melbourne, with the main attraction being the famous Moomba Carnival in Birrarung Mar and Alexandra Gardens.
The festival goes for 4 days 11 - 14 March and there’s heaps of fun for the entire family. This year the Moomba Festival will be back to normal, with free entry to the festival sites and the fireworks will once again go off each night at 9:30 pm. to end the days with a bang!
In the heart of the festivities in Alexandra Gardens, you find Riverslide Skatepark where the ASL Street Championships goes down Saturday and Sunday.
The ASL Street Championships attracts skaters from all over Australia. Pros, ams and groms come to Melbourne to fight it out on the notorious street course while the carnival rides provide the perfect backdrop and the Moomba crowds bring the cheer.

Registration and payment closes 9 March 2022. Payment must be received prior to event.
FORMATS
All qualifiers and finals for 10 & under, 13 & under and 16 & unders will receive two 45 second runs with highest scoring run to count. Top 6 in each division will move to finals.
Opens division final: Street League Format - Street League Format with 2 x 45 second runs and 5 x Best Trick attempts. Top four scores to count.

Due to the COVID-19 situation there could be restriction changes at any time. In the case of event cancellation you will be refunded your entry fee. Any other cost incurred by you (eg. flights, accommodation etc.) will be your responsibility.
