SLABZOO SHREDDER: Bailan Jones

He loves the freedom and creativity involved i skateboarding - and you can tell by his style of skating. Always finding challenging street spots or charging in bare feet around the park. No wonder Slabzoo photographer Dain Bosworth calls him a young Jay Adams! 12-year-old Bailan Jones from Burleigh Waters on the Gold Coast is our Slabzoo Shredder.

Elliott Sloan.

Tell us about your worst slam?

I fell 5 ft. from the air onto my head on the coaping on a hip 😬

What was the hardest trick to learn?

The hardest trick I’ve ever learnt is crail tail.

What tricks are you practising at the moment?

Trying to get longer and more dipped front smiths on bigger transition.

What do you dream of doing/achieving with skateboarding?

My dream is to get on the DC skate team.

What do you do when you’re not skating?

Surfing.
